African Essential Oils

The word "essential" shows or indicates that the "oil" carries a distinctive essence or scent of the extracted plant. Essential does not mean 'especially important' substance. Most of the time supercritical carbon dioxide or a solvent such as hexane is used widely to extract African essential oils. In modern times, the most frequently used common essential oils, like peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender are distilled.

An essential oil consists of concentrated, hydrophobic liquids which have very volatile aroma compounds extracted from plants, also called aromatic plants or aromatic herbs. Almost always Essential oils are being derived and generally extracted by distillation process.

In ancient Europe when essential oils were made people would put to use even the impure and diluted waste and extracts for making creams, oils etc. but this art had come to an end there over a certain period of time. Then again in the 12th century this art came back to life when some craftsmen specialized on this field. This was when French court and English guild of Pepperers perfumers started specializing on these essential oils. Now recently African Essential oils have also become popular.

It is important to remember that pimples, acne and spots can be cured with patience and an over all good health. Essential oils will be effective only if you take care of your over all health by eating healthy and by controlling stress. You also need to remember that if you over do things it will not help cure faster for example don't wash face too frequently or don't scrub your face while wiping it, or don't use any harsh alcohol based products. Our body gives out its normal amount of sebum during the day if you disturb it the body gives out loads of it which would cause the pores to block further. In short remember not to over do things for faster results.

Reed essential oil diffusers are the most happening these days. They not only look good in drawing rooms and bedrooms but also last for months. It does not operate on electricity or flame. The essential oil is put in a diffuser and a reed is put over it. The fragrance travels through the reed and is spread all over the place.

It is important to remember to give a patch test on arm before starting to use any product to see if it causes any allergy to your skin. Tea tree oil is known to be the best product when it comes to reducing or clearing skin disorders such as acne, pimples or spots.

It is also proved that if you use not more than say 6 drops of essential oil in your bath it helps to clean he skin as well as disinfect it along with relaxing feeling.
